Sudan Knowledge

We are currently looking for funding from various funding bodies to provide a limited number of grants for few conference participants to help them attend the conference; this will take the form of an exemption from the registration fee and/or hotel charge. These grants will be awarded on a competitive basis and the total number of awards will depend on sponsorship funding we will be able to secure within the next period. We therefore strongly recommend that you start looking for funding to attend the conference particularly if you do not fall in the different categories mentioned below.

Priorities

• All candidates must register to attend the conference and be able to demonstrate a professional interest in the conference and issues relating to Technology Transfer and Sustainable Development.
• You should have a direct contribution to the conference (track chairs, organizing committee etc).
• Priority will be given to participants directly coming from academic and research institutions in Sudan and countries which are presently suffering severe crisis, such as Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, Palestine etc.
• Students or those currently unemployed for more than one year.
