Terrorism

Happy New Year David. I am a Nigerian with a BA and LLB. I just completed a Counterterrorism programme in the University of St Andrews, Scotland. I went on to register for a Masters in the same discipline in UEL where I found your profile and decided to contact you. I will like to work in this area possibly in Nigeria while pursing my Part-Time Masters in UEL. I am very passionate about contributing to a solution oriented model to snuff out the menace Boko Haram is presently posing. I suspect you must be frustrated with the Hard-Power tactic being deployed by the army as this only serves as a recruiting sergeant to bolster the ranks of the militants. We need to focus on training frontline personnel who can engage with target communities to build trust as the first step. If not, I am sure you agree that this will only get worse. I wish you the very best of 2017. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you in the future. Kind Regards. John Esin
