The adoption and usage of mobile and wireless technologies in small to medium-sized enterprises in New Zealand

This research investigates the adoption and usage of mobile and wireless technologies (MWT) in small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in New Zealand (NZ). The research attempts to extend the technological innovation theories to MWT research by developing a model to explain to the adoption and the usage of MWT in SMEs in NZ. The research also highlights different advantages and challenges surrounding the MWT area. The introduced factors in the model are hypothesised to influence the adoption and the usage of MWT significantly in SMEs. The developed model is of interest to SMEs, professionals, researchers and policymakers interested in the MWT area in SMEs.
