In collaboration with the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD) and the Middle Eastern Knowledge Economy Institute (MEKEI), Sudan Knowledge (SK) runs regular conferences, workshops and various events focusing on the role of Diaspora across the world in technology and knowledge transfer to achieve sustainable development (SD) in countries of origin. SK, WASD and MEKEI act as a meeting platform where participants from all over the world meet each other regularly to experience new ideas and cultures, travel and see new places and learn about all of the aspects of world SD together with their future colleagues.
Our events consists of sessions of Keynote Speakers; Roundtable Discussion; General Assembly; Plenary Sessions; Papers Presentation; Interviews; and Excursions (visits and tour) in the organising country. The objective is to create a fresh knowledge base and provide direction to all participants to effectively deal with future challenges of sustainability. Our events attract large number of global experts and scholars in addition to WASD, MEKEI and SK members all over the world. Participants include researchers, policy makers, educators, experts, consultants, diaspora, students, youth and private sector organisations focusing on the creation and commercialisation of technology.
