Tell the world about the BEST OF SUDAN uprising video
The first video competition about the BEST OF SUDAN uprising video will be launched by Sudan Knowledge (SK) and the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD) during the 6th International Sudanese Diaspora Conference 2019 hosted by the United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO), London – UK (Thursday 20 – Friday 21 June 2019). We are looking for creative, funny or serious, inspirational stories about the BEST OF SUDAN which is engaging and has potential to become a viral success, see helpful tips and guidelines below.
Content
Film makers worldwide are invited to enter the competition for a short video (no more than 5 minutes) including elements that you consider to be best features of Sudan uprising. This could be one element or a combination of things. For example it could include humour, the people, language, special place, food, art, landscape or anything else that makes Sudan’s uprising a special place in your opinion. Your videos will be used to promote the best features about Sudan’s uprising and its people across the world. Helpful GUIDLINES and Film REQUIREMENTS
Prize
- All videos submitted by the deadline will be uploaded to SK’s YouTube channel.
- The first winner will receive the followings:
- Financial Award (amount to be confirmed later).
- Round trip to attend the 7th Diaspora International Conference 2020 (including flight, accommodation and other expenses).
- Join SK and WASD social media team as a reporter, helping the team with videos, articles and social media posts.
- The winning video will be displayed on SK website.
- The second winner will receive the followings:
- Financial Award (amount to be confirmed later).
- The winning video will be displayed on SK website until.
Judges
The winner will be evaluated by a group of experienced and well established judges who have long experience in film and video production including:

- Fawaz M. M. Al Dkheel, Consultant and Development Specialist, Regional Social Responsibility Network (Facebook and YouTube Channel)
Submitting your video
- Submission is open for the public, individuals or groups, the competition is open to everyone (see guidelines), but for any group submission there must be a lead filmmaker.
- The deadline for submission is: 5th June 2019
- There is no submission fee for the competition.
- Videos should be submitted electronically to SK () using WeTransfer.
